Preface

You are holding an odd book of a contemporary Vietnamese. The author of this book is a friend who has the same age as mine. Before giving me the draft of “IMMORTAL WAY” which has not been printed, he said with all of his enthusiasm that he wanted to save the human of the solar system from destruction by his immortal theory and “Respiratory training, chanting mind knowledge”. The first stage of immortal theory is to increase the longevity of the human from 150- 600 years old, the next stages gradually increase to be immortal. According to his theory, the human on the earth will self-purify to the state of just having energy, not weight.

You surely feel that it is illogical. I understand and also have the same feeling. However, there is one logical point which is the demand of finding illogical things of the human, and dream is never illogical.

My friend has an aspiration of changing the human longevity, in fact is to change contemporary human to a new human kind by practicing points massage on the body and respiratory training of his own method which he has been researching, gathering and practicing on his own body. With the same idea as IMMORTAL WAY, in 1998, a well-known French writer- Michel Houellebecq wrote BASIC PARTICLE describing the procedures of improving, transforming existing human on the earth to a new human kind who are totally perfect. Old human kind (we) needs to extinct.

If the author wrote this book when he was 100 years old, just 100 years old, I surely believe that there would be investor investing to set up “Immortal” academy to teach and spread out his theory, investors are even dreamier than the author. It is unfortunate that the author was born in 1952, and he is still quite young, however, let’s look back the history of “alchemy” of ancient alchemists who had a dream of transforming lead into gold. That illogical practice way has brought many benefits for the human. Many new sciences were born from the mistakes of “alchemists” in the Middle Age. Even the history of our aviation also begins from illogical desires, but really remarkably sincere.

I like the illogical points of IMMORTAL WAY because the author is also remarkably sincere. Possibly, we will find another way to be immortal. At the beginning of the human history, we dreamed of being able to fly. Where to fly? Why from generation to generation, the human kind has devoted to looking to the sky, flying high and far?. Maybe, it is the desire of returning to homeland. Maybe, in our subconsciousness, the human being know that our homeland is on that far, far away. An age of the sun is a circle when the sun orbits our new Milky Way. In order to travel one age of the sun, the earth has to spend 250 million years orbiting the sun. Thus, hundreds million years ago, the sun brought the earth to fly through somewhere and life began. Up to now, time when life has developed on earth is not half of the age of the sun.

Where could we fly through, would the earth fly through the area of fire or ice wind, area of strange particle wave…? How to know how the human will exist on that earth’s surface? It might be somewhere in the universe, there is a place that is suitable for all living kinds to develop. In that place, now, there has been the concentration of several kinds of human being (human being in a broad meaning) for a long time. They have come there before us. Possibly, we come there late because our sciences have not afforded. My friend, by his own way, by outstanding intelligence and his own experience (though he is not 100 years old, wants to bring the human being to come to the happy and peaceful area of the universe, bring the human being on earth back to their homeland.

IMMORTAL WAY reminds me of UNIVERSE DIARY OF A SILENT ION describing life of thousands of different human kinds who are immortal and exists scatterly in the universe. The author is Xtanixlap Lem who I was really fond of from childhood.
